Ingredients
  • 2 Round Puff Pastry Sheets
  • 1 (225g/8oz) Wheel of Brie
  • 11 Large Hot Dogs
  • Sesame Seeds
  • 1 Egg (for egg wash)
Method
  1. Leave the pastry on its packaging baking paper. Place the brie in the middle.

  2. Brush around the brie with egg wash, then cover with the second sheet of pastry.

  3. Press the pastry down around the cheese to make sure the cheese is sealed inside.

  4. Make 16 equal cuts starting 1-inch from the cheese to the edges of the pastry, like rays of the sun.

  5. Brush around and the sides of the brie before rolling up the sausages.

  6. Cut the sausages in 3 equal pieces. Place the sausage on the outer edge of the pastry and roll it all the way up to the cheese standing it upright against the cheese (the first might not hold but as you go around, they will).

  7. Continue doing the same with the second sheet of pastry (brush the rolled-up sausages with egg wash first).

  8. Once ready, brush the whole top of pastry and sausages with egg wash and sprinkle sesame seeds all over.

  9. Bake in preheated oven 180C/350F for 30 minutes. Remove from oven. Cut open the top of the cheese.

  10. Serve immediately and enjoy by dipping the sausage rolls in cheese!
