Santa Cheesecake Hats

These adorable treats are made with Oreo crust, Cheesecake, and Nutella filling and crowned with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. They are a great Christmas single-serving dessert that everyone will enjoy!

Ingredients - Serves 20
    Main:
  • 175g/6.2oz Original Oreos (crushed)
  • 70g/2.5oz Butter (melted)
  • 2 (225g/8oz) Tubs Cream Cheese
  • ½ Cup Sugar
  • ½ Tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Jar (170g/6oz) Soured Cream
  • ¼ Cup Nutella (Chocolate Spread)
  • 12 Cup Cake Paper Wrappers
  • Cup Cake Baking Tray
  • Topping:
  • 280ml Double Cream (Heavy Cream)
  • Fresh Strawberries
  • 1 Tsp Icing Sugar
Method
  1. Preheat oven to 140C/275F.

  2. Place the paper wrappers in the baking tray.

  3. Mix the crushed Oreos with melted butter and equally divide the crushed biscuits in the paper wrappers.

  4. Press down onto the base and refrigerate for 30 minutes until you make the filling.

  5. Beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth, add eggs, vanilla, and sour cream, and beat till combined.

  6. Warm Nutella slightly for 20 seconds in the microwave.

  7. Pour a heaped tablespoon of cream cheese into each of the muffin cases, a small teaspoon of nutella in the center and place another tablespoon of batter on top.

  8. With a toothpick swirl the top of the batter. Bake for 30 minutes, cool and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.

  9. To remove the paper wrapper, just turn it over on your fingers and pull off the paper.

  10. Top with piped whipped cream and refrigerate again so the cream will harden before placing the strawberries on top.

  11. For the strawberries - Cut off the top of the strawberry and pipe whipped cream on top. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

  12. Before serving, place strawberries on top of cream and dust with icing sugar.
