These layered Jelly Cups are fun to make and even more fun to eat! Delicious for a daytime snack, to round off dinner with friends and are also perfect for the festive season!
Prepare strawberry jelly as instructions. Pour evenly into each of your dessert cups and refrigerate until firmly set.
In a small bowl, add 4 tablespoons water and sprinkle the gelatine powder over the water. Leave for a few minutes until the water absorbs the powder then warm for a few seconds in the microwave to dissolve into a liquid.
Middle Layer:
In a small saucepan, add the cream, milk with 2 tablespoons sugar and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence and bring to a low boil. While still hot, add the gelatine and mix. Pour into a jug and leave to cool completely.
Pour on top of the strawberry layer over the back of a spoon so the cream won't hit directly onto the strawberry jelly. Return to the fridge until firmly set.
Final Layer:
Prepare the lime jelly as instructions, and use ice cold water where it calls for cold water, you don't want to pour warm jelly on top of the cream layer as it will melt it. You can put it in the fridge for a little while to speed up the cooling process.
Return to the fridge until firmly set and you are ready to serve.
Top with your favourite fruit. When in season, strawberries would also taste great with these jelly cups.
