  1. Slice dates lengthwise to remove pit and create an opening for the filling.

  2. Stuff dates with mascarpone cheese (it is easier to pipe it in) and sprinkle with chopped pecans.

  3. Place on a sheet of baking paper and drizzle with maple syrup.

  4. Transfer to a serving plate and keep refrigerated until serving.
